I was born and raised in Italy until my 20s. Hailing from the sun-kissed landscapes of Liguria, Italy, I spent my early years surrounded by the aroma of fantastic olive oil and the culinary delights it brought to life. Hence, the motto and the heartbeat of this blog: less butter, more oil!
Food has always been my passion since I was a child – I spent most of my Sunday mornings with my mom cooking for lunch, usually kneading dough for gnocchi or ravioli. You will not find pasta with chicken or pizza with pineapple in this blog—only truly Italian recipes.
